Linktree - The simple and powerful tool all creators need

The Creator economy is booming! They are about 50 million creators that exist and the number is going up. The size of the creator economy is estimated to be more than $104 billion. It is amazing to see Entrepreneurs from all over the world, of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds create entire businesses with content as the front end. The general business model is to create engaging content that add values to consumers and then monetize it through various means including the platform where the content is hosted (e.g. Youtube), affiliate marketing (promoting products from Amazon etc.) and direct advertisement partnerships with other businesses.

The created content is front and center of this business model and is either hosted or promoted throug different social media channels. If one is to get started - they would want to create visual (images/infographics), written (blogs, articles, ebooks), audio (podcasts) or video (Youtube videos/ Online courses) content and then promote it though various social media profiles on Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.

But how do you bring audiences and consumers from your social media profiles to your products and affiliated marketing links? Most social media profiles allow you to mention a link to your website. You can put a collection of products you want to market like BySophielee and making a website is pretty easy to do these days using excellent tools like Squarespace.

But what if you don't have a website and you instantly want to link to multiple social profiles, your blog and your youtube channel through your instagram page. The tool you need is Linktree - which is an amazing, free to sign up - "Link in Bio" tool. Not only that you can even get your followers to subscribe and ask you questions. This is also a great way to get started on building a mailing list.

You can easily create a customized profile choosing how you want to display your links, the colors on your profile, the icons for each link and much more. It even gives you information and analytics on how your links are performing.

Here's what my Linktree looks like and this is all done using the free version!

You can go to your profile and add all your social media profiles and they appear as nice little icons just above your links.

Getting started is simply two steps:

  • You sign up
  • After then you just need to copy your URLs and add them

You can also add a custom thumbnail if you like for the link.

I was even able to embed a Youtube video directly on my Linktree - it plays without opening the browser.

So what are you waiting for? Get your "Link in bio" now and market your website, blog, youtube channel and affiliate links!

P.S. This is not a sponsored post, I just love Linktree this much.
